Sunflower Medallion

This one of a kind quilt uses a large scale drunkard’s path variation block to create a stylized sunflower. Brimming with summertime sunshine energy, the flower features the iconic black center and gold petals, with green edges to symbolize the leaves, and a wood grain print in the corners to represent a fence. The entire flower is bordered with a light blue “sky”. Colors may appear differently depending on monitors and devices. These photos represent the quilt as best as possible.

All the fabrics and batting are made from cotton. The quilt was hand pieced and hand quilted, with quarter inch echo quilting in the gold petals. At roughly 56 inches square, it is a cozy size to snuggle under while reading or binging your favorite series/movies. When draped over the sofa or on a chair, it will bring a spot of color to your room. It could also be displayed as a dramatic wall hanging.
