Bloomin’ Flowers

This one of a kind quilt portrays large blooms climbing a trellis. The “trellis” is a wood grain print fabric in a light grey, reminiscent of weathered cedar. A rust red brick print fabric provides the background. The blooms are hand appliquéd in a random cluster, climbing up the center. The flowers are in a floral print in pinks and purples. Colors may appear differently depending on monitors and devices. These photos represent the quilt as best as possible.

All the fabrics are made from cotton and the batting is a cotton bamboo blend. The trellis and brick background was machine pieced, the flowers were hand appliquéd, and the entire quilt was hand quilted. At roughly 45 inches wide by 50 inches long, it is a cozy size for hanging out reading or binging your favorite series/movies. It could also be displayed on the wall as a statement art piece.
